What is a Witchy Skill Tree

Each Skill Tree is a self-contained learning path comprised of four intentional branches. Together, they give you a strong foundation, enough to learn the language of the practice, work with it safely, and decide where you wish to go next. Each tree is an essential building block, providing you with a sense of accomplishment as you gain actionable magickal skills.

Leandra Witchwood is a South-Central PA modern witch, an herbalist, and the Founder of The Magick Kitchen podcast.

Leandra has authored five books on witchcraft and shadow work. She leads women’s circles, rituals, and transformative workshops. A Master Herbalist and Reiki Master, she hand-blends intentional teas at The Witchwood Teahouse, infusing each cup with healing plant wisdom. Through the Rebel Mystic Coven, Leandra mentors seekers in folk and shamanic witchcraft, shadow work, breathwork, and connecting with Divine Wild Spirits.

Do I need prior experience in witchcraft to begin a Skill Tree?

Not at all. Each Rebel Mystic Skill Tree is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re newly awakening or returning to your practice after time away, the trees begin at the roots — clearly explaining the what, why, and how before inviting you into practice. If you already have experience, you’ll find language, structure, and insight that help refine and deepen what you know.

How long do I have access to the Skill Tree once I purchase it?

Once you enroll, the tree is yours as long as you maintain your account. You’ll have ongoing access to the lessons, exercises, and discussion space, allowing you to move at your own pace, revisit practices, and return whenever your path circles back to that skill. You will need to log in at least once within a 28-day period and keep your communication settings set to receive messages and emails, to keep your account in good standing and able to access your skill tree content. Witchcraft is cyclical — your learning should be, too.

Are the ritual kits required to complete a Skill Tree?

No. The ritual kits are completely optional. They exist to support beginners or those who appreciate having thoughtfully curated tools chosen for them. Each kit is hand-curated to provide some of the basic ingredients and tools for the skill tree, allowing you to practice with ease. Every practice can be adapted using what you already have or materials you feel drawn to. The true magick is in your intention, presence, and practice — not the tools themselves.

What happens after I complete a Skill Tree?

When you complete a tree, you’ll receive a completion badge and see your progress reflected in your personal Grove Map. From there, you may be guided toward related Skill Trees, deeper courses, or immersive programs. Some advanced trainings may require specific trees as prerequisites — not as gatekeeping, but as a way to ensure shared language, safety, and depth of understanding.
