I am Leandra Witchwood -- Modern Witch, Priestess, Master Herbalist, Celtic and Usui Reiki Master, and Wortcunner with more than two decades of practice in green magick, animism, shadow work, and the Celtic healing traditions.

I founded The Magick Kitchen in 2011. What began as a blog grew into one of the top twenty podcasts in the religion and spirituality category. I have written five books on witchcraft and shadow work. I hand-blend loose-leaf teas through The Witchwood Teahouse, rooted in vitalist herbalism. I lead rituals, women's circles, and initiatory containers through the Rebel Mystic Coven and Academy.

But the piece of me that most belongs in this course is the wortcunner -- the plant-speaking, earth-listening, grove-walking practitioner who has spent her life in relationship with the wild world. (Wortcunning, for those new to the term, is the art of deep plant knowledge combined with spiritual relationship -- the witch's herbalism, as old as the craft itself.)

My programs are drawn directly from my living practice. Every plant I have sat with, every tree I have sung to, every Grove I have returned to, every spirit I have encountered on a fog-heavy morning in South-Central Pennsylvania -- that is the well I drew from when I built this course.

I have walked this path. I know what it takes to hear the green world speak. And I built this so you do not have to find it alone.
